DAD AM I A FOOL?

A million words
From a million foolish minds
A couple of million smiles
Learnt as a subject in school these days
Such is our lives
We blinded by fogs of follies

As if in a cast
We fete and crown our clowns
We feast and make merry
As we knight our unfitting stars
And which stars?
Stars we cast in theaters of our lives

There are no auditions
Anyone who can breath is our pick
Thus we mark our lives
In scenes thats perfectly mimic our sins
Oh Hail Mary
Most blessed, come quick see

Chaotic freedom
Freedom for the million foolish minds
What foolish wisdom
That the wise must sift through every word
Hear their million words
See the fading glow of their drowning light

How they succeed in their glorious failures
This I'm not part of
Them I run farthest away from
And that my pals can easily co-sign
That I never played a foolish mind
I couldn't cut it in audition
If I ever tried
For my smart disguised would still show
Me Poppa I'm not a fool.
