My dear friend how do I even begin
Should I let my mind or my heart speak?
Oh if I could call them both to meeting
And qualify one which would better tell my feelings
Time and space has conspired to separate us
Knocking down the bridge that linked us
But sitting upon the banks I write you this letter
Lifting it up like a banner so you could see it from afar
Though we be parted for months and days
Love protected and kept safe remains
Our friendship is love in a different shape
And love does outlive even the longest of days
Some day, some hour, speedily and soon
We'll hold hands like we used to do
And talk & laugh like only I & you could do
Sharing chocolate & sipping Pepsi like we used to do
Then, Nothing well ever come between us
Not the length of days nor the breadth of nights
Nor space nor distance
For our cloven paths will have been woven back into one.
