She likes me my brother be telling me
Good for her to show ambition I be telling him
But hers is a desire of the moth for the star

Or am I gonna make her dream come true?
Abandon myself and allow her come to my rescue
If my brother is right then for her I really wish I could
For her happiness not for me won't that be good?

But I can't, not for her but for another I could

When I have talked to my girls..

My crown of many lights

The suns pate sinks deeper over the horizon
A flowing flood of darkness chases the fleeing light
Light like a coward retreats without a fight
All its energies spent its brightness fast fades out

Night which can utter no word announces itself to millions
Spreading itself and covering everything under its dark veil
No wick nor floodlights, nothing will keep darkness away
It must rule the night before morning comes and it’s dethroned

Pity and shame for the sinking sun turns the moon red with anger
And it steps out to help its bigger and brighter brother illumine the earth
The stars too refuse to endure watching its kin put to shame
Out one by one, the little of the family to the biggest they all shine

Darkness is thwarted in its attempt to entirely rule the earth
Man, whose walk would have been halted by the flood of darkness
Stands, stops, and turn his face upwards with a grateful smile
His words are soft and heartfelt, a cross between poetry and prayer

His emotions a sighing, a relief, a jubilance…
A new awareness, a restoration of something which was fast breaking,a mending
Hope and joy propels his mind, sky by night becomes his fast library
And he reads captivated by newfound wisdom, almost a new religion

Wisdom is above, God is above, light too mustn’t be hid but put above
The veil of darkness is shredded by the piercing rays of light, rays of hope
It will exist, but not triumph, the sky is mans crown, the sun, moon and stars
And though the crown be so high we forget, it’s still on our heads lighting our path

Of thoughts of future and now

Are we the future
Or when does the future begin?
Where, who could be sure
Is the line dividing?

If its not of today dependent
And its its free of history's influence
Then my thought of tomorrow
Are the most perishable

Dying on the ground they're planted
Denied a chance to grow
If its so, and my hope is it isn't
Then the present is more valuable than gold

What a happy day!
Someone help me count my blessings
Someone can't they're too many
Someone needs to call an accounting firm
Call delloitte and touche
And call a studio while at it
Tell them to come take a picture perfect smile
It won't be here forever

Who am I O lord?
What is my cause?

Making The Transition.

Yesterday is so gone
Broken down out like a million fine particles of dust
My boot-prints blown
The sand keeps no memory of where my feet stepped last

Today I've left the gravel path
And now I walk down this rich red carpet
It too I'll leave behind
Not my footprint though, here too they can not last

My fingers prints are everywhere too
On that warm coffee cup I tightly clasped
On the mouse at the cyber too
They too won't last ain't that so sad?

My old friends have forgotten my number
Tomorrow they'll struggle to remember my face
That will not matter much I'm making new ones
And everything I am they all love to remember.

Going Home (cyber-write)

From home to town
From town to coast,...and back
Turned the wheel full circle and some!
& while I was away a whole calender has gone to trash

Now maybe its time to go back
Not back home cos you know what they say,``homes where your heart is''
And my heart is in my chest so wherever i am.....?go figure!
