I will write no more
This is my encore
One last poem
Before I take a bow
I'm retiring my pen
Kissing these papers goodbye
A kiss so sweet you wish it was thine!
Look what I leave behind
When I'm gone yet un-gone
My image clearly tatted in your mind
Like a tattoo you could never fade me out
Echoes of my voice ringing in your heart
Again and again mimicking the beating of your heart
In `one me' didn't I tell you there is none like I
To find yourself you could say you needed my eye
Pardon my blasphemy if you hear me callin myself god
Its just that Sherrie told me that writers have a soul
(Oh, wasn't her words just so profound?!)
...And if a souls dies not, Hey that makes me what?
I had you hooked at one me
My first poem off my first book
You could say it was love at first sight
I mean, love at first words!
I painted beautiful words in colour
Like my fingers and pens were cartridge and toners
Now I cant go away for a moment
Without one of you calling out my name
I'm way bigger than myself
Though few will realize that and not well after I'm gone
W.W.W.phatsworldpoetry.blogspot.com is what I'm leaving behind
So many waiting to get their name in it
Its the holy grail for the who's who
Thats why only a chosen few will grace it
See me fly with angels
And here are my last words,
`` I'm from Above!''.
